What Have You Learned What's Next

Q What have you Learned? What's Next? • Points 100 • Submitting a text entry box or a file upload I asked you at the beginning of the semester to identify what you knew and what you wanted to do this semester in the very first journal activity. Now it is time to take stock and reflect on what you have accomplished and what you want to do next. This course is full of the things you need to do in order to advance your career and achieve those goals and dreams. Write 750-1000 words reflecting on where you are, and where you want to go next. Go back to your What do you Know assignment to review where you begain, and really put some thought into an action plan. I want you to set some goals, have a vision, "place some stakes in the ground". Put your thoughts and ideas in writing. It somehow makes things just a bit more "real "when we write down what we want to accomplish and put some plans and timelines in place to help us get there. This is the time for you to make it happen. Once you have written this final journal activity, copy and save it. Put a reminder with a copy of this journal in your calendar to review what you committed to. It should be encouraging to be reminded of the progress you are making in achieving your goals. Good luck and spend a bit of time in this personal reflection.

I have been interviewing employees for over 20 years, so I have a developed my own style, but they may not be what people interviewing me may want. With that being said, interviewing for senior level positions, which I would be interviewing for, is not the same as interviewing for entry level jobs. I also understand that I have not interviewed in over ten years and may have some additional learning about the interview process for myself going forward.
